Our Story
Inspired by Jamaican Culture
Yaad Vibes Promotions was born from a desire to recreate the sense of community found in Jamaican culture in Canada. In Jamaica, community members frequently come together for festivals, sports events, and other activities, fostering strong connections. Our founder, Neville Hamilton, missed this environment and decided to recreate it in Canada. The name 'Yaad Vibes' reflects the feeling of being at home, where people can relax, have fun, and enjoy the moment.
Mission
At Yaad Vibes Promotions, our mission is to create epic events that connect communities across cultural and social boundaries. We design experiences that immerse the mind in sensory stimulation for the soul, making memories that influence our clients and their target audiences.
Values
Our corporate culture is inspired by the West Indian term for home, 'yaad.' In Caribbean cultures, community members come together frequently to enjoy arts and sports events, creating a family-like atmosphere. Our objective is to foster similar family-friendly ambiances where people feel connected and willing to participate. By hosting family-style public events on a larger scale and leveraging our international network of musicians, artists, and technical experts, we aim to bridge public service initiatives and diverse multicultural communities.
Vision
We aim to extend our service delivery to smaller venues such as lounges, cafes, and galleries, expanding our arts and entertainment network. Our goal is to operate as a socially sustainable venture, providing a platform for passionate, hard-working creatives to fulfill their destinies. We contribute to community mental health by creating fundraising-focused events for applicable establishments, supporting undiscovered talent, and promoting self-expression.
About Us
Established in May 2018, Yaad Vibes Promotions is dedicated to encouraging both young and old to improve relationships within the region through sports and entertainment. Our mission is to contribute economically to our community by creating a path for upcoming stars and providing them with a platform that will lead to successful careers. We currently work with various artists within Manitoba and have held and sponsored multiple successful events.
